Encore Kids
The performing arts group for grades 3–8.
Encore Kids is a year-long performing arts group for students in grades 3–8, with an emphasis on stage presence, vocals, dance, and drama. Members perform the pre-show at every Encore mainstage production throughout the season, take their show to community events, and make an annual spring break trip. It's not a casual activity — it's a company. And the curtain call alone is worth it.
Grades: 3–8 • Commitment: Year-long • Rehearsals: Mondays & Thursdays, 5:30–6:45 PM
Fee: $250/year (includes tuition, t-shirt, and performance costumes)
Performs: All mainstage productions (September, November, February, April) • Community events • Annual spring break trip
Auditions: Held each August. Spots are limited — auditioning does not guarantee placement.

Stages is Encore's youth theater workshop for students in grades 3–12. With an emphasis on acting, vocals, and dance, Stages students develop real performance skills over one or two semesters — culminating in full productions on the Encore mainstage. Fall semester produces a non-musical production. Spring semester students audition for and perform in Encore's main stage musical. Two semesters, two productions, one stage.
Grades: 3–12 • Commitment: One or both semesters • Fee: $100/semester
Rehearsals: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 5:30–6:45 PM
Fall Semester 2025: Charlotte's Web • Auditions: August 19 & 20 • Performances: December 5, 6 & 7
Spring Semester 2026: The Wizard of Oz (mainstage) • Auditions: January 13 & 14 • Performances: April 22–25, 29–30, May 1–3
